Component Supply offers precision end-forming for 304 or 316 hypodermic tubing, 304 or 316 stainless steel wires, Nitinol wires, PTFE coated wires, and other metal components. For cannulas produced from stainless steel tubes, the proximal end possesses a blunt, or square cut, end and the distal end may be machined as a chamfer, bevel (also known as bias cut), pencil point, deflected point or anti-coring (also know as “Huber” point), closed-end, or trephine cut. For wire, end-forming options may include bull-nosing, chamfering, beveling, conical or point grinding, and aggressive deburring.
